General Thoughts

I love this game. I hate this game. I really like the story and the way it's presented, I despise the combat and the fact you gotta BEAT THE GAME THRICE TO BE ABLE TO GET ALL 5 ENDINGS. Best way I can describe it is by saying it is really really good with some flaws that hurt it pretty badly. I'll get more in-depth into it in the further sections. Now would I recommend the game? Yeah, if you like the SH vibe and piecing together a story little by little until everything clicks into place neatly, it should be up your alley. If you like the survival horror aspect, managing resources, etc. It's... alright in that department, I guess. Overall, I'd suggest only playing on hard difficulty if you're a glutton for punishment. Best to just go for an easier mode and enjoy the environment, story and exploration, since those are the strong suits of the game.

Combat

I played on hard combat difficulty for my first playthrough and it was pretty dang frustrating. you have to play slow and careful and it starts feeling like you're just waiting for enemies to attack/miss so you can parry or hit them safely. So you end up just standing there, waiting... 😴

Story

Hinako, my GOAT. NG+ is fire, also, playing everything thrice is a bit much.

Puzzlers

Really cool when story-related, really stupid sometimes. (I don't know about Japanese flora)
